Hans Reiner was a distinguished maker of flutes and piccolos, celebrated worldwide for his craftsmanship. Hailing from Schöneck, Germany, he was immersed in the art of flute-making from an early age. His formal training took place under the esteemed Philipp Hammig in Markneukirchen, where he refined his skills alongside other talented artisans. In 1936, Reiner established his own workshop, quickly earning a reputation for producing some of the finest piccolos available, alongside a select number of exquisite flutes. His extensive experience at renowned firms laid the groundwork for his exceptional career in flute-making.
