Gérard Meunier
Gérard Meunier was born in Paris in 1928. He showed a natural talent for music from a young age and studied piano, harmony, counterpoint, and orchestral direction. He later became a teacher, pianist, and director of the Aubervilliers-La Courneuve Conservatory. Gérard Meunier’s artistic upbringing, with his father being an artist and poet, influenced his love for various art forms. He had a particular fondness for nature and was a great friend to animals, especially cats.
Besides his work as an educator and conservatory director, Gérard Meunier expressed his creativity through composing music. He had his own distinctive style and sincerely portrayed his observations and feelings about the modern world.
