Founded by Christoph Mancke, who studied under Professor Ludwig Jann in Dortmund, the company began with Christoph’s passion for flute construction. His son, Tobias, joined in 1998 after studying flute and training as a toolmaker. Tobias became the sole owner in 2002, focusing on innovative designs and material combinations to meet global market demands. MANCKE head joints are favoured by soloists and orchestral musicians worldwide.
