Louis Lot Wood Flute-c9034
Louis Lot Wood Flute-c9034
About
This gorgeous wooden flute is a very early example of Louis Lot’s work with wood. The wood itself has a reddish tinge that suggests it is made from cocus wood. The G key is on a separate rod, a unique piece of mechanism. The tone is sweet,
bright, and elegant and once restored, will be a dream to play, perfect for chamber music or soloist works that require a delicate touch.
Condition
There are no obvious or concerning cracks in the wood. The flute however is not very playable suggesting some needed attention to the padding.
