Jules Herman
Jules Herman (1830-1911) was a French flautist, conductor, and composer. He gained renown for his arrangements and transcriptions of various musical works for flute and piano, with a particular focus on creating exquisite fantasies based on 19th-century operas. In addition to his musical talents, he held a prestigious position as a professor at the Conservatoire de Musique de Lille.
