Lior Eitan
Born in Israel in 1963, Lior Eitan achieved cum laude honours upon graduating from the Rubin Academy of Music in Tel Aviv under the guidance of Uri Shoham. His musical career commenced as the Principal Flute of the Israel Sinfonietta Beer Sheva from 1985 to 1988, and since 1988, he has held the position of Principal Piccolo in the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. Lior Eitan demonstrates a profound commitment to promoting Israeli music, premiering and dedicating over fifty works from Israeli composers. Moreover, he passionately arranges classical masterpieces for wind instruments, with some arrangements published by Svitzer Edition, Denmark. Throughout his musical journey, Lior has recorded eight CDs for esteemed labels like the Israel Music Institute, “Centaur”, “Meridian”, and “Romeo”, showcasing his exceptional talent on the flute and harp.
