About
This Sonatina was written in 1953 and is the most known of Geraedt’s works for flute. This captivating piece of music fits lovingly into any concert repertoire.
It’s easy to listen to and enjoyable to play.
A joyous first movement leads into a mysterious and hypnotic flute solo to begin the second movement. The final movement shows off the skills of the flautist with a delicate humorous ending delightfully bringing the piece to a close.
