Geoff Eales-The Sad Little Geisha Girl-Flute and Piano-Astute Music Inspired by Arthur Golden’s novel “Memoirs of a Geisha”, the work blends Far Eastern pentatonic techniques with Western modalism. Unless otherwise indicated, the music should flow hypnotically but, at the same time, the underlying pulse should have a very strong sense of “groove”.
