Johannes Brahms’s Six Pieces for Piano, Op. 118, are highly cherished compositions that he wrote for solo piano. Completed in 1893 and dedicated to Clara Schumann, they are among his last published works for piano.
The collection consists of six distinct pieces, including the passionate and expressive Intermezzo in A minor and the gentle and tender Intermezzo in A major.
