About
Bach For Unaccompanied Flute consists of seventeen arrangements of movements from the sonatas, partitas, and suites of J.S. Bach. Â They are intended for private study rather than public performance, as they were not originally written as Flute music. It should be remembered that Bach’s instrumental writing was of a universal nature and he himself considered his music transferable to any instrument.
Johann Sebastian Bach
J.S. Bach was a German composer and musician of the Baroque period. He enriched the German music style through his skills in motif production and organisation of counterpoint and also harmony. Bach’s adaptation of rhythms, forms, and textures took influence from abroad, particularly in Italy and France.
