Inspired by a poem written by Lemn Sissay, And Everything Is Still… this piece was commissioned by the RNCM. A simple melody unfolds alongside delicate harmonic statements, creating a calm and gentle atmosphere. It is dedicated to Paul Edmund-Davies. A recording of the piece played by Paul Edmund-Davies and Peter Lawson can be found on the CD The Bad Tempered Flute.
