The incomparable Albert Cooper flute ‘#101’ (his first flute) was made in 1959, and is the first of only 93 made. This extremely rare instrument is believed to have been made for flautist Albert Honey. The tone is intimate, and supple, with qualities of the Cooper sound which made his head joints highly sought after.
Condition
The flute is in fantastic condition and completely playable. The padding is even, the mechanism is regulated, and the silver is unblemished. A well-looked-after flute!
