About
This book is a continuation of the AMA Flute 2000 method book and includes colour photographs together with an array of new exercises.
There is a wide variety of repertoire covering the technical elements including favourites such as Papageno’s Song, Allegretto from Dvorak (8th Symphony), Mozart’s Theme and Variations, Pink Panther, and Waltzing Matilda. Some of the pieces explore the jazz and pop genres as well.
Many of the pieces include simple piano parts, allowing younger students to play music together.
The book deals with familiarising the student with the first two registers of the flute and covers the top register up to G3.
