Claude Laurent
Claude Laurent, a watchmaker from Paris, pioneered the creation of glass flutes in the early 19th century, turning them into a unique trend. While the popularity of crystal flutes waned after Laurent passed away, his innovative method of using pillars for key mounting set a new standard in flute manufacturing.
