Arnold originally composed English Dances for orchestra in 1950-1951, inspired by country folk tunes and dances. Paul Harris has expertly arranged these dances in a version for flute and piano.
Composer-Malcolm Arnold
English composer, Sir Malcolm Henry Arnold (1921-2006) composed an array of works in a variety of genres. His compositional output includes nine symphonies, numerous concertos, concert works, chamber music, choral music and music for brass/wind bands amongst other works.
